This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you use easy-move.co.uk (the “Website”) and request a moving quote or service from Easy Move.
1. Who is the data controller
The controller of your personal data is Oleksy.it, a sole trader established in Poland, trading under the brand Easy Move (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Contact for all data protection matters: info@easy-move.co.uk. Our registration details (address, tax ID) are available on request at this email address.
We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, for users in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What data we collect
When you use the quote or booking form, or contact us, we collect the data you enter:
- email address and phone number,
- name (if you provide it),
- pick-up and delivery addresses or postcodes, and the distance calculated between them,
- the moving date and the volume of your belongings, and any notes you add.
We also collect technical data automatically: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, the page you came from, and cookie identifiers (see section 8). We do not knowingly collect sensitive (special category) data, and our services are not directed at children under 16.
Providing the data in the form is voluntary, but without it we cannot prepare a quote or arrange your move.
3. Why we use your data, legal basis and retention

4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary:
- Carriers and moving companies that carry out your move or contact you about it on our behalf. They receive only the data needed to perform your request (contact details, route, date and volume) and are required to use it solely for that purpose.
- IT service providers – hosting, email, and tools we use to handle enquiries.
- Google – Google Maps Platform (address suggestions and distance calculation), reCAPTCHA (form protection), and Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads (statistics and advertising).
- Payment providers, where you pay online.
- Public authorities, where we are legally required to do so.
5. Transfers outside the EEA and the UK
We mainly process data in Poland and the European Union. Some providers, such as Google, may process data in other countries, including the United States. In such cases we rely on the safeguards required by law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. The UK and the EEA are covered by mutual adequacy decisions, so moving data between them does not require additional safeguards.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased, or its processing restricted,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests,
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal).

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl); in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Automated calculation of the price
The estimated price in the form is calculated automatically from the route and volume you enter. It is not a decision that produces legal effects for you, and we do not carry out profiling.
8. Cookies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to work, and, where you agree, cookies used for analytics and advertising (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads). You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings; blocking some of them may affect how the Website works.
9. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to the systems where enquiries are stored.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy, for example when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
